This Waking the Oracle event is presented in conversation with the Weisman’s exhibition, The Experience of Expression

Co-produced by the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing, WAKING THE ORACLE community healing activations call forth our wise selves and communities by blending art, music, relaxation, opportunities for creative expression, sharing of food, and time for dialogue and reflection. With the help of a bit of music, storytelling, and an adaptable gathering space (in the form of a centering well) people are invited to lean-in with the heart-lifting support of the Oracles—surprising and uplifting characters that help us find our way through challenging times, reminding us that we are all Oracles and together we can transform our challenges into fuel for healing and growth.

What to Expect

Join members of WAKING THE ORACLE for a relaxing and surprising immersion into song, storytelling, community reflection & dialogue about the importance of connection and creative expression during distressing times. Meet the magical singing and dancing Oracles who come to support us in unexpected ways as we find our path forward together. Participate as you wish, come as you are. 

After the program concludes, we will have refreshments available in the Riverview Gallery at 3 p.m. If you are able to, we hope you will stay to enjoy refreshments in community.

The Oracles are: Molly Sturges (Founder, Artistic Director, & Ensemble Member), Chance York (Creative Activation Team), Brandon Sisneros  (Creative Activation Team), Eric Mayson  (Creative Activation Team), Lauren Reed (Creative Activation Team), Maria Arriola  (Creative Activation Team), Matthew Rahaim (Creative Activation Team), Michael Duffy (Creative Activation Team), Lyla York, Autumn York, and Violeta. 

Who These Events Are For

This iteration of WAKING THE ORACLE is open to the general public, all ages are welcome. This event is free, but registration is required.
