School Exhibition and Student Docent Program
The Art of Clementine Hunter
This collaborative program between the Weisman, Young Audiences of Minnesota, and the Schoephoester Family brings an exhibition of twenty original paintings by Hunter into schools. Through workshops at the museum, teachers create classroom connections and students learn skills to serve as tour guides when the paintings come to their school. Grades K-12. ArtWords and ArtSounds
ArtWords and ArtSounds are annual competitions that cultivate and showcase University student creativity. Students select an artwork on view from the museum’s permanent collection and develop an original musical or literary piece in response.
