The Weisman Art Museum Store offers customers an eclectic mix of handcrafted gifts, jewelry, personal accessories, household objects, ceramics, toys, books, T-shirts, and educational products related to the museum's programs. Visit the store to find fun-filled, unique gifts that will provide a lasting memory of your museum experience.

Museum members receive a 10% discount on merchandise and invitations to annual shopping events. Proceeds from your purchase at the Weisman Art Museum Store benefit Weisman exhibitions and educational programs.

Hudson & Ione Walker Art Rental

Put a little art in your life!
The Art Rental Program gives U students, employees and departments the unique opportunity to display pieces from WAM’s collection in their home or office.

Choose from more than 300 framed, ready-to-hang, original artworks available at the WAM Store.

Renting is Affordable!
$12 (plus tax) per artwork per semester for U of M students (limit 3)
$40 (plus tax) per artwork per year for U of M employees (limit 5)
$40 per artwork per year for U of M departments (no limit)

Conditions
Renters are responsible for transporting and hanging artworks and for displaying them in a safe environment. The artworks in the rental collection are property of the Weisman Art Museum and are not available for sale.

History
The rental program began in 1934 at the Weisman’s predecessor, Northrop Auditorium’s Little Gallery. Students could rent print reproductions for 25 cents each to adorn the walls of their dorm rooms. The program is named for Hudson S. Walker, the first curator of the Little Gallery, and his wife Ione.

parking

The parking garage is located beneath the museum on East River Road. Public parking is available in the museum ramp at a rate of $2.75 per hour with a daily maximum of $12.00. The parking ramp and the museum are both handicapped accessible.
